Requirements
- Doctorate degree with at least 3 years, Master’s with 5, Bachelor’s with 7, Associate’s with 12, or high school diploma with 14 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, PhD, or Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in strategic planning, chief of staff, or business operations.
- Experience leading Strategic Planning and Operations professionals or similar teams.
- Strong business judgment and an enterprise mindset.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information and drive implementation.
- Excellent executive communication skills for senior audiences.
- Ability to operate proactively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities in matrixed organizations.
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience preferred, particularly in Pharmacovigilance or Patient Safety.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President and Executive Leadership Team.
- Lead and develop Strategic Planning and Operations colleagues.
- Own and continuously improve the organizational operating rhythm.
- Prepare senior leadership discussions by framing objectives, decisions, and risks.
- Develop executive-level narratives, presentations, and decision materials.
- Drive accountability by establishing clear owners, milestones, and dependencies.
- Partner with R&D strategy, HR, and Finance to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Lead annual and multi-year strategic, financial, and resource planning processes.
- Support communication, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
