Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-6+ years of experience in financial analysis, program control, or project accounting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance.
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and earned value management (EVM) principles preferred.
- Experience in government contracting or manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain program financial baselines, including budgets, forecasts, and Estimates-at-Completes (EACs).
- Monitor and analyze program costs, revenue, and profitability against established budgets.
- Prepare regular financial reports and variance analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with accounting, contracts, and operations to ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and funding status.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and pricing to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant financial procedures.
- Provide mentorship to junior-level team members.
