Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Training at a leading law firm in corporate or transactional law.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex corporate and commercial transactions in technology, payments, or financial services.
- Strong judgment and commercial pragmatism.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to operate across strategy and execution.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience with detail-oriented legal workflows and systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal strategy across corporate, commercial, product, regulatory, and compliance areas.
- Structure and execute M&A, investments, joint ventures, and other complex initiatives from diligence through closing.
- Draft and negotiate bespoke agreements with sophisticated counterparties across finance, technology, and digital assets.
- Oversee entity structuring, corporate records, governance processes, and global filings.
- Partner closely with finance, operations, product, and business teams on initiatives including equity and token-related matters.
