Requirements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience on complex software delivery.
- Proven experience managing contractual milestones, UAT-based acceptance, and formal change control.
- Strong professional writing skills for status reports, meeting summaries, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to execute plans that depend on cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with government or regulated-industry clients is strongly preferred.
- Experience with child care programs in state government (licensing, subsidy/CCAP, eligibility, or provider systems) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with state human services, eligibility systems, or state procurement is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan for each engagement across all workstreams, tracking milestones, UAT cycles, and acceptance against each contracted statement of work.
- Run the client cadence on every project, including weekly status, steering meetings, escalations, and working sessions with agency program staff, legal, and state IT.
- Keep dependency registers current, holding both the company and clients to scheduled deliverables like integration specs, test environments, and data feeds.
- Manage project scope, including capability traceability, acceptance criteria negotiation, change requests, and intake of new work.
- Produce deliverables for client review and provide Wonderschool leadership with proactive risk updates across the project portfolio.
- Collaborate with engineering leads on integration timelines for state systems such as ERP platforms, data hubs, and SSO.
- Build a repeatable program playbook for scaling state and enterprise engagements.
