Requirements
- At least 3 years of Medical Billing AR and Charge Entry experience in the US Healthcare Industry.
- Specific experience in oncology and infusion services fields.
- Proficiency with EPIC software.
- Understanding of EOBs, copays, deductibles, and various insurance plans (Medicare, Medi Cal).
- Knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, diagnosis codes, and payer policies.
- Superior phone communication skills for interacting with providers, carriers, and patients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Minimum typing speed of 40+ wpm.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Work all aging claims from Work Ques or Aging reports.
- Perform the day-to-day billing and follow-up activities within the revenue operations.
- Present trends or issues to the supervisor to drive process improvements.
- Resolve denials or correspondences from patients and insurance carriers.
- Assist in patient calls and inquiries.
- Write clear and concise appeal letters.
- Meet defined productivity standards and attendance requirements.
