Requirements
- Previous healthcare, medical office, or Medical VA experience.
- Hands-on experience with insurance verification, eligibility, and claims management.
- Spanish fluency (highly preferred but not required).
- Experience with Healthie EHR (an advantage).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Access to a reliable laptop or desktop and high-speed internet (min 25 Mbps).
- Must be able to provide NBI or local police clearance.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Mountain Time.
- Proficiency with platforms like Slack, Salesforce, WhatsApp, and Skype.
Responsibilities
- Conduct insurance eligibility verification and pre-checking before patient services.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding, unpaid, rejected, or denied insurance claims.
- Handle inbound and outbound patient phone calls with warmth and professionalism.
- Coordinate referrals and track incomplete documentation with providers.
- Support general office management, document formatting, and program coordination.
