Requirements
- 5+ years in product management owning complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Direct experience with AI/ML products, including LLM-powered tools or autonomous agent systems.
- Deep fluency in the AI landscape, including model developments and agent frameworks.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI workflow design and prompt engineering.
- Proven experience in product operations fundamentals like documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work effectively in an enterprise or SaaS context.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort managing concurrent AI initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with standard product management tools like Jira, Airtable, Asana, or Confluence.
- Experience in higher education, edtech, or student success platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Execute against the Compass AI product roadmap in collaboration with the VP of Product.
- Lead structured discovery with institutional customers to validate AI hypotheses and unmet needs.
- Translate strategy into clear work definitions, including epics, user stories, and success criteria.
- Partner with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver AI features and autonomous agents.
- Communicate roadmap updates and trade-offs to internal Sales, Customer Success, and leadership teams.
- Develop and maintain human-in-the-loop frameworks for AI recommendations.
- Integrate LLMs, workflow automation, and data pipelines into the Compass platform.
