Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research.
- Extensive project management and line management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Demonstrated leadership track record with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally including overnight stays.
- Experience in managing complex and global trials is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage a team of Project Directors and Project Managers in the execution and governance of projects.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight on all clinical programs, serving as the primary point of escalation.
- Optimize project profitability and manage resource allocations to meet budget and quality targets.
- Select, train, and develop talent in project leadership positions.
- Identify and mitigate impacts to project scope, resources, schedule, or budget.
- Ensure project compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Development on proposals, budgeting, and bid defense.
- Conduct project evaluations and lead mid-project recovery or adjustments when necessary.
