Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production SaaS products.
- At least 3 years managing engineering teams and senior-level engineers.
- Hands-on Identity & Access Management experience (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWTs, MFA/2FA, SSO, SCIM).
- Expertise in RBAC or comparable permission and role models.
- Experience using AI tools and agentic workflows to automate engineering processes.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade SaaS at scale.
- Strong track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Technical depth to lead architecture discussions for high-blast-radius systems.
- Security-first mindset focused on correctness, auditability, and reliability.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, mentor, and develop the Identity & Access Management engineering team.
- Own delivery of the enterprise-grade IAM platform, including authorization, authentication, SSO, and SCIM provisioning.
- Establish roadmap priorities in partnership with Product, Security, and Engineering leadership.
- Run an AI-native engineering organization to reduce manual processes.
- Partner with enterprise customers and go-to-market teams to understand access-control requirements.
- Own operational excellence for high-blast-radius services, including reliability and incident readiness.
- Maintain high engineering standards across architecture, code reviews, and security-by-design principles.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver consistent access experiences.
