Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related technical field.
- 5 or more years of total experience in financial systems or data solutions.
- 2 or more years of experience developing data solutions on Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms.
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies.
- Experience in IT business analysis and artifacts development.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks.
- Experience translating business requirements into data models, transformations, and curated datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead implementation of data foundation capabilities across Data Quality, Metadata, and Reference Data Management.
- Drive development of data assets within Databricks, including table builds, transformations, and optimization.
- Define, implement, and monitor Data Quality controls and rules for critical Finance data assets.
- Support metadata management practices including business glossary creation and data lineage documentation.
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, including design, development, UAT testing, and operationalization.
- Provide executive-ready presentations and recommendations on data foundation priorities and capability gaps.
