Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in data analytics, financial services, management consulting, or high-growth technology.
- Expert fluency in SQL.
- Experience using Python or PySpark, specifically for building reusable analysis workflows.
- Proven track record of leading complex, ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong ability to build mental models of data systems and identify issues before they impact customers.
- Experience reasoning about bias, representativeness, and systematic risks in large datasets.
- Skilled at working with messy, inconsistent data and evolving schemas.
- Ability to communicate complex methodology, risks, and tradeoffs to cross-functional partners.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools to drive leverage and process improvement.
- Demonstrated discipline and detail-orientation in data modeling and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Own the lifecycle of your data domain from processing and validation to modeling and downstream product support.
- Design validation frameworks, monitoring, and QA systems to proactively detect and address data quality issues.
- Develop centralized methodologies that reduce duplication and improve consistency across business units.
- Partner with Technical Product Managers and Data Engineering Managers to prioritize investments and shape processing architecture.
- Onboard new datasets and build reusable integration patterns for faster, more reliable data ingestion.
- Redesign analytical work by implementing AI and automation to eliminate manual tasks.
- Mentor junior analysts and establish operational standards and culture for the domain.
