Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases and query languages.
- 5+ years of experience building data pipelines in production using structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- 5+ years of data modeling experience (e.g., star schema, entity-relationship, data vault).
- 5+ years of experience writing clean, maintainable code in Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated expertise in software engineering concepts, best practices, and DevOps.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses, specifically Databricks or Snowflake.
- Experience managing stakeholders and collaborating with customers.
- Willingness to travel.
- 5+ years of experience with dbt Core/Cloud preferred.
- Certification in Databricks or Snowflake strongly preferred.
- Consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients to translate complex business needs into AI-ready data architectures.
- Design and implement AI-optimized data platforms, including cloud data warehouses, lakehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop and evolve semantic and analytical layers for tools like Snowflake Cortex, Databricks Genie, and BI platforms.
- Write production-ready, maintainable code in SQL, Python, and Spark following CI/CD and Git best practices.
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, and ML teams to productionize AI-enabled features and inference pipelines.
- Contribute to the development of internal accelerators, patterns, and client-ready architectures for the company practice.
- Manage individual workstreams independently and lead small project teams.
