Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of project leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in IT business analysis, including developing business and project-related artifacts.
- Strong understanding of technology strategy, implementation processes, and the relationship between technology capabilities and broader business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams, build alignment, and drive initiatives through execution.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leaders, technical teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
- Ability to evaluate technology opportunities, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a complex enterprise environment.
- Customer-focused mindset and genuine interest in using technology to improve healthcare and consumer experiences.
- Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, PBM environments, or vendor-led clinical technology initiatives is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with new Health Information Technology (HIT) vendors supporting clinical opportunities and strategic initiatives within the pharmacy benefits environment.
- Evaluate prospective HIT vendors against business priorities, strategic objectives, technology requirements, and emerging industry guidance.
- Coordinate contract execution and implementation activities with new technology partners, ensuring initiatives progress effectively from evaluation through deployment.
- Manage existing relationships with external HIT partners, maintaining strong collaboration and accountability throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Provide enterprise-level leadership across cross-functional teams, driving alignment and ensuring operational transitions are executed smoothly.
- Oversee implementation planning and execution for technology solutions within defined scope, balancing business needs, technical considerations, and enterprise objectives.
- Partner closely with senior leaders and healthcare, pharmacy, technology, and business stakeholders to develop and execute functional strategies.
- Use deep HIT knowledge to identify opportunities for technology and process improvements that support better member health, well-being, and consumer experiences.
- Facilitate collaboration among pharmacists, healthcare professionals, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear communication and service to internal and external customers while managing initiatives with moderate to substantial complexity.
