Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience within behavioral healthcare.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in behavioral healthcare admissions, treatment placement, outreach, business development, or care coordination.
  • Proven experience managing a regional territory or developing professional referral relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the behavioral healthcare treatment continuum and placement process.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex situations and provide ethical, clinically appropriate guidance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Strong professional presence in clinical and professional settings.
  • Collaborative leadership style with experience supporting, mentoring, or coaching others.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple referrals and follow-up responsibilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Current residency within the Pacific Northwest and ability to travel regularly throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with behavioral healthcare providers, clinicians, hospitals, and interventionists.
  • Support regional growth through territory planning, referral development, and community engagement.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for individuals and families seeking behavioral healthcare resources.
  • Assess prospective referrals and provide ethical, clinically appropriate placement guidance.
  • Coordinate closely with admissions, outreach, and clinical teams throughout the inquiry and admission process.
  • Represent Altior Healthcare at conferences, facility tours, and professional networking events.
  • Identify process gaps and collaborate with internal teams to improve the overall referral and admission experience.
  • Document outreach and relationship development efforts within the organization’s CRM.
