- Deep interest in and contextual knowledge of the AI safety and policy ecosystem.
- Professional experience in talent placement, recruiting, or headhunting is highly valued.
- Experience managing high-stakes selection or hiring processes is preferred.
- Existing professional relationships within the AI safety ecosystem are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end internal hiring including sourcing, screening, trial tasks, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
- Build hiring systems, templates, and rubrics to standardize recruitment processes at Kairos.
- Cultivate relationships with hiring organizations across the AI safety and policy ecosystem.
- Proactively match early-career talent from programs like SPAR and Pathfinder to open roles.
- Track placement outcomes to refine and improve matching processes.
- Onboard partner organizations to the Talent Commons platform and maintain data quality.
- Collaborate with team leadership to evolve the talent function and strategy.
