Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a complex and dynamic sales environment involving multiple stakeholders and solution-based selling.
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, management, internal specialists, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and demonstrated strategic selling skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an asset.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and customer service capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse customer territory across multiple market segments, executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, pipeline management, and the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers through retention and account expansion strategies aligned with their evolving needs.
  • Apply a consultative, solution-based sales approach to understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate products and services, and communicate their value effectively.
  • Establish trusted relationships with business owners, key decision-makers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute territory strategies aligned with regional and business objectives.
  • Partner with supplier representatives to deepen product knowledge, obtain competitive pricing, and improve account profitability.
  • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and relevant industry or business events.
