Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing strategic communications plans, ideally within healthcare, managed care, provider relations, healthcare operations, or a similarly regulated environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing, proofreading, and content-development abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple communication initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience developing provider-facing communications across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with healthcare, Medicaid, provider operations, enrollment, revalidation, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder-management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive communication strategies and plans supporting provider revalidation initiatives and broader enrollment activities.
- Create, edit, proofread, and maintain provider-facing communications, including email campaigns, letters, presentations, FAQs, and related materials.
- Translate complex healthcare, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear, concise, and actionable messaging for provider audiences.
- Partner with senior leaders, client stakeholders, operational teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and aligned with organizational requirements.
- Coordinate multi-channel communication campaigns designed to increase provider awareness, engagement, and timely completion of revalidation activities.
- Manage communication initiatives from planning and development through execution, monitoring, and optimization.
- Track communication effectiveness and use performance insights to refine messaging, channels, and outreach strategies.
