Requirements
- 8+ years of related professional experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Account Manager, Technical Consultant, Product Manager, or Solution Architect.
- 3+ years of direct experience in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, or lifecycle management.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Technical proficiency with Okta feature sets or equivalent identity architecture design.
- Solid understanding of identity protocols such as SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with legacy applications in hybrid IT environments.
- Knowledge of SaaS deployment (Salesforce, Box, Office 365, Workday) and HR-driven provisioning (SCIM, Workflows).
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical topics for CxO-level stakeholders.
- Okta Certified, CISSP, or equivalent certification highly preferred.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time, including in-person onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Build deep, long-lasting relationships with customers as their go-to technical advisor.
- Earn trusted advisor status with customer identity owners and technical leadership.
- Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve complex problems and design sophisticated identity solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to design identity strategies aligned with their business objectives.
- Manage technical escalations independently or collaboratively with Customer Success Managers.
- Serve as a thought leader by providing best practices, workshops, and training to customers and internal team members.
- Mentor peers and colleagues to upskill technical capability within the TAM team.
- Contribute to adoption and retention strategies based on customer patterns.
