Requirements
- Significant experience in talent acquisition or recruiting leadership, ideally within a fast-scaling, technology-driven, or complex international organization.
- Proven experience leading recruiting teams, including experience managing managers and developing high-performing talent acquisition functions.
- Demonstrated ability to set measurable performance standards, establish accountability, coach team members, and lead through organizational change.
- Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how workforce planning and hiring strategy contribute to organizational growth and design.
- Experience partnering directly with senior executives and business leaders, ideally including VP- and SVP-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing both technology and non-technology recruiting across multiple functions.
- Hands-on experience leading senior-level and executive searches, including Director-level and above positions.
- Strong understanding of talent markets in India and the ability to translate market conditions into practical hiring strategies.
- Experience building industry recruiting and university or early-career talent strategies is preferred.
- Strong workforce planning skills, including the ability to partner with Finance and HR on headcount forecasting and hiring timelines.
- Experience developing structured interview processes, assessment frameworks, and data-informed recruiting practices.
- Strong analytical and systems-oriented mindset, with the ability to assess hiring tradeoffs, risks, costs, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the India talent acquisition strategy in close partnership with senior leadership, HR, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop recruiting plans aligned with business objectives, organizational growth, workforce requirements, and long-term hiring priorities.
- Lead and develop the India recruiting organization, including a team of approximately 2–5 recruiters and a Recruiting Manager.
- Establish clear performance expectations, measurable recruiting standards, accountability mechanisms, and development plans.
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to VP- and SVP-level leaders, providing market intelligence, hiring recommendations, and workforce insights.
- Partner with Finance and HR to forecast headcount requirements, hiring volumes, recruiting timelines, and resource needs.
- Build structured, consistent, and data-informed interview processes and decision frameworks.
- Personally lead and execute high-impact Director-level and above searches.
- Develop and own industry and university recruiting strategies for India.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruiting processes, systems, and operating models.
