Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in cross-functional product launch, commercialization, or program management.
  • Demonstrated track record of bringing physical or hardware/software products to market.
  • Experience managing complex launch timelines across engineering, supply chain, operations, and go-to-market functions.
  • Experience in growth-stage or scaling environments where processes need to be built from the ground up.
  • Background in consumer hardware, pet technology, wearables, or connected devices preferred.
  • Understanding of commercialization requirements for products combining hardware, software, and subscription services.
  • Experience with retail channels (e.g., Amazon, PetSmart) including compliance and launch calendars.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms like Asana or Jira.
  • Ability to collaborate across international time zones with manufacturing and vendor partners.
  • Knowledge of regulatory/certification requirements for hardware launches.
  • Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central coordination point across engineering, product development, brand, marketing, operations, supply chain, retail, legal, and manufacturing partners.
  • Build strong working relationships across distributed teams and time zones to keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and decisions.
  • Translate technical constraints into business and marketing implications while ensuring commercial requirements are communicated to technical teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent product initiatives, including new products, line extensions, and accessories.
  • Maintain portfolio-level visibility using project management tools like Asana and provide structured progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Own end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution, including launch milestones, handoffs, and retail readiness.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure products have necessary certifications before shipment.
  • Maintain per-SKU launch cost models, partnering with operations to identify margin risks.
