Requirements
- Experience supporting accounting, financial, business operations, or other specialized software applications.
- Familiarity with personal computers, common office technology, and printer or desktop support.
- Strong customer-service orientation and a genuine desire to identify and solve the underlying problem.
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when managing support requests and client information.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work, prioritize competing requests, and remain effective under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and proactive approach to learning new software platforms, workflows, and industry processes.
- Basic knowledge of production accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong communication and follow-through.
- Candidates must be located in the Pacific Time Zone and able to work remotely from within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary support contact for clients, responding to accounting and software questions through phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot user issues, identify appropriate solutions, and ensure clients receive clear and helpful guidance.
- Manage support requests using HubSpot help desk software, accurately documenting tickets, resolutions, and relevant client information.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams and maintain clear communication throughout the resolution process.
- Submit software bugs and development requests on behalf of users, providing sufficient detail to help technical teams investigate and resolve issues.
- Participate in quality assurance testing for new software releases, helping identify defects and validate functionality before deployment.
- Assist with planning and coordinating user communications related to software updates, changes, and other relevant initiatives.
- Perform data-integrity general ledger reconciliations on behalf of clients when required.
- Develop a strong understanding of the accounting and software platforms to provide increasingly effective client support.
