Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage servicing experience; three (3) to five (5) years of direct Loss Mitigation experience; three (3) to five (5) years of collections experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage servicing experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of direct Loss Mitigation experience, including borrower hardship evaluation.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of collections experience in mortgage servicing, manufactured housing, or consumer lending.
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage servicing, default servicing, delinquency management, and bankruptcy processes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of borrower financial information, including hardship letters, income documentation, and bank statements.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for navigating sensitive borrower conversations.
  • Ability to manage an active pipeline while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience developing, improving, or documenting operational processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an active pipeline of delinquent accounts requiring loss mitigation evaluation, follow-up, and resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend borrower assistance strategies including repayment plans, deferrals, loan modifications, and liquidations.
  • Communicate clearly with borrowers regarding available options, required documentation, and decisions.
  • Build and formalize a scalable Loss Mitigation operating model by developing standard operating procedures, workflows, and escalation paths.
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks to improve existing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on pipeline activity, aging, borrower outcomes, and operational trends.
  • Collaborate with Collections, Customer Service, Bankruptcy, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure strategy alignment and process efficiency.
