Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of compensation experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and administering salary structures, incentives, commissions, and market pricing.
- Previous government contracting experience is required.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, graphs, and charts.
- Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Experience with compensation surveys, market data, pay equity analysis, and job evaluation.
- High integrity and discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Service Contract Act is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and administer compensation programs covering base salary, short-term incentives, and sales commissions.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate salary structures, job grades, compensation budgets, and guidelines.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to provide compensation guidance for new hires and internal transfers.
- Evaluate compensation data to support internal equity, market competitiveness, and pay equity reviews.
- Participate in compensation surveys and translate market data into actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and update job descriptions to ensure alignment with job architecture.
- Conduct job evaluations using established frameworks.
- Research employment and wage-related regulatory developments.
- Provide clear explanations of compensation analysis to HR stakeholders and managers.
