Requirements
- Conceptual understanding of version control systems (git), including branching and merging.
- Conceptual understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Conceptual understanding of Snowflake.
- Conceptual understanding of software build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Conceptual understanding of CI tools (Jenkins).
- Experience supporting Java-based applications in a production environment.
- Conceptual understanding of Linux environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages including Bash, Python, and Groovy.
Responsibilities
- Work operations tickets and project task queues with the DevOps team.
- Communicate with Engineering to roll out changes for customers.
- Automate operational and server provisioning workflows using AWS CloudFormation templates.
- Share responsibility for deploying releases and maintenance.
- Improve operations infrastructure including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Consul, Graphite, and Grafana.
- Provide operational support for the Engineering team.
- Assist in migrating dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud.
