Requirements
- 3+ years leading or coaching technical pre-sales teams in B2B SaaS.
- 5+ years working as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Strong technical fundamentals with developer experience in high-level languages like JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of web technologies and architecting scalable ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of headless solutions, modern commerce stacks, and AI/search applications.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Experience hiring, ramping, and developing high-growth teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
- Coaching mindset focused on people development and team execution.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 5 Solutions Engineers covering Commercial, Enterprise, and Strategic accounts across AMER.
- Develop SEs to facilitate technical storytelling and drive the narrative during the pre-sales cycle.
- Own accountability for all aspects of the technical evaluation across AMER deals, from discovery through business close.
- Partner with regional Sales leadership to align SE coverage, prioritize pursuits, and build account strategy.
- Coach individual SEs on consultative selling, ROI mapping, and technical evaluation best practices.
- Champion AI adoption within the team to improve productivity, demo generation, and solution design.
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new SE hires to support team scaling and coverage.
- Channel field intelligence from the region to Product and R&D teams to inform the product roadmap.
