Requirements
- 5-7+ years of software engineering experience with a background as a senior engineer or technical lead.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.
- Experience maintaining and modernizing .NET/C# and Angular applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development workflows.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud-native development (AWS or GCP also relevant).
- Experience with containerized workloads and orchestration.
- Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK).
- Strong experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Exposure to financial services, tax technology, or finance transformation environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead from the keyboard by contributing production code and utilizing AI agents.
- Own technical direction, architecture, and roadmap for delivery and modernization.
- Modernize legacy .NET/C# and Angular components while building with Python, Node.js, and React.
- Break work into tasks and assign to engineers or AI agents.
- Perform pull request reviews and maintain technical-debt backlogs.
- Hire, coach, and evaluate engineers while setting the technical bar.
- Develop protocols for AI-assisted development and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Drive CI/CD automation, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Partner with production support by providing documentation, runbooks, and automation.
