Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a loan origination environment.
- Experience handling large application volumes while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience juggling case work with inbound phone calls.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and process updates.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and maintain accountability.
- Strong problem-solving and escalation judgment.
- Positive mindset and focus on applicant experience.
- Ability to work 9AM - 6PM EST (with occasional weekends).
- Availability to complete initial training during 8AM - 5PM PST / 11AM - 8PM EST shift.
Responsibilities
- Process assigned loan applications.
- Handle applicant calls with accuracy and urgency.
- Review, validate, and process critical documents like proof of income and identification.
- Conduct daily follow-up outreach via phone and email for pending documentation.
- Follow up on applications escalated for fraud review.
- Adhere to schedule and meet performance SLAs.
- Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or fraud indicators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with fraud, BPO, and operations teams.
- Identify process gaps and propose workflow improvements.
- Monitor Slack updates and participate in team meetings and training.
