Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or relevant Masters preferred
- 7+ years total experience in Strategy or related work
- Prior experience at a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm, in-house strategy team, or comparable experience (e.g., FP&A, Corp Dev, banking)
- Strong preference for a combination of consulting and in-house experience
- Experience leading and developing others (project teams, peers, or leaders)
- Ability to travel 10-20% for company meetings and business needs
- Highly analytical with the ability to move from data to synthesis to recommendations
- Experience/acumen with agentic AI
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
- Executive presence and killer communication skills (written and verbal)
- Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel
Responsibilities
- Assess internal and external risk and opportunities; bring facts, analysis, and judgement together to identify opportunities, risks, make recommendations, and drive business decisions
- Collaborate with the Strategy team and leaders across the organization on our Strategic Plan
- Scope and plan projects, ensuring clarity, setting goals and milestones, and establishing metrics
- Lead projects that will drive performance (financial, operational) for stakeholders
- Conduct end-to-end problem solving including structuring approaches, analysis, and developing recommendations
- Analyze and synthesize data to develop clear recommendations
- Leverage agentic AI to reach robust answers
- Create clear and compelling communications for internal and external audiences
- Be a thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer and other leaders
- Drive change and improve Ways of Working at Vital Farms
