Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across revenue accounting, billing, collections, and finance operations.
- 5+ years of direct people-management experience.
- Hands-on expertise in ASC 606 and defending complex technical positions with external auditors.
- Experience managing variable-fee billing at scale, including usage-based pricing.
- Track record of scaling billing and order-to-cash operations in multi-entity environments.
- Strong command of AR, cash application, and DSO performance metrics.
- Proficiency with NetSuite (familiarity with Zone preferred).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Experience managing distributed and offshore teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- CPA strongly preferred; Big Four experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical revenue accounting function and serve as the primary authority on ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Establish and maintain revenue policies, standalone selling price methodologies, and internal controls.
- Own the revenue close process within a five-business-day cadence.
- Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash function, including billing, cash application, collections, and credit risk.
- Drive AI and automation initiatives to redesign and improve financial workflows.
- Lead and mentor a distributed revenue and billing organization.
- Oversee requirements and prioritization for finance systems including NetSuite, Zone, and Salesforce.
