Requirements
- 10–12+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position overseeing AP/P2P and AR/O2C functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX internal controls, and multi-state payroll requirements.
- Technical expertise with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday).
- Experience with billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Zuora, Recurly) and spend management platforms (e.g., Zip, Ramp).
- Proven experience leading operational accounting in high-growth D2C, e-commerce, or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated success with enterprise-wide system implementations and workflow redesign.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead global strategy and day-to-day execution of transactional accounting operations spanning Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Time & Expense, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Order-to-Cash.
- Oversee global multi-state U.S. and international payroll operations, including tax reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Manage AR and Billing operations across D2C, subscription, B2B, and retail channels to ensure accurate cash application and receivables management.
- Own the finance operations technology roadmap, including ERP, billing, payment, and spend management platform implementations.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment, including SOX readiness and audit preparation.
- Define and monitor executive-level KPIs to measure operational performance and close efficiency.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
