Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive FP&A or financial planning experience.
- At least 3 years of experience within SaaS, fintech, payments, or similarly data-intensive technology environments.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NDR, CAC, LTV, churn, retention, gross margin).
- Strong knowledge of fintech and payments economics (interchange, processing costs, take rates).
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel capabilities.
- Experience using FP&A and planning platforms such as Cube, Mosaic, Anaplan, or comparable tools.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong proficiency with AI-enabled analytical tools (e.g., Claude) for finance workflows and SQL query drafting.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and present to C-suite executives.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
- Partner with senior executives and functional leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives.
- Analyze core SaaS and payments KPIs, including ARR, MRR, NDR, CAC, LTV, and transaction margins.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Own monthly and quarterly management reporting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with Accounting on financial close processes and GAAP reporting.
- Lead the optimization and automation of FP&A systems using tools like Power BI and Anaplan.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
