Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
- 3–5 years of demonstrated people leadership experience, including team development and managing change.
- Proven ability to lead within complex, matrixed organizations and operate with an enterprise-wide mindset.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to use data/analytics to improve commercial performance.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic planning and complex projects with measurable outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen for performance assessment and decision-making.
- Proven experience translating analytics into executive-level narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills.
- Ability to mentor and retain talent while creating an inclusive team environment.
- Approximately 25–50% travel is expected.
Responsibilities
- Establish the vision, strategy, priorities, governance, and operating model for the Customer Insights function.
- Lead and develop a high-performing insights team by establishing clear roles and engagement practices.
- Act as a strategic advisor to sales, marketing, and executive leadership to translate business questions into actionable insights.
- Oversee commercial analytics, executive scorecards, dashboards, and KPI reporting for commercial effectiveness.
- Direct customer segmentation, market intelligence, and analytics initiatives to improve targeting and commercial activation.
- Build cross-functional partnerships with sales, marketing, data science, and IT to ensure organizational alignment.
- Champion innovation in reporting, predictive analytics, and emerging technologies to drive measurable business impact.
