Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience leading multiple engineering teams, including experience managing and developing engineering managers.
  • Strong background in Security Engineering, security platforms, and technical architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence technology strategy across large and multifaceted organizations.
  • Strong experience with coding, system integration, automation, and enterprise security technology implementation.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern security platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational transformation, operational maturity, and metrics-driven engineering practices.
  • Experience managing technology portfolios, large-scale vendor relationships, budgets, and strategic investments.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance competing business and security priorities and make effective risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more Security Engineering teams through managers, team leads, and individual contributors.
  • Build and develop high-performing engineering organizations through recruiting, coaching, and career development.
  • Define and execute multi-year Security Engineering strategies and roadmaps.
  • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise security platforms including identity, cloud, application, endpoint, and data protection.
  • Guide security architecture, technical standards, and engineering practices.
  • Champion automation and engineering-driven security controls.
  • Lead technology evaluations, vendor relationships, and build-versus-buy assessments.
  • Establish operational practices including service ownership, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Communicate security strategy, risk, and investment needs to executive leadership.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
