Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience leading multiple engineering teams, including experience managing and developing engineering managers.
- Strong background in Security Engineering, security platforms, and technical architecture.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence technology strategy across large and multifaceted organizations.
- Strong experience with coding, system integration, automation, and enterprise security technology implementation.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern security platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational transformation, operational maturity, and metrics-driven engineering practices.
- Experience managing technology portfolios, large-scale vendor relationships, budgets, and strategic investments.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Ability to balance competing business and security priorities and make effective risk-based decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more Security Engineering teams through managers, team leads, and individual contributors.
- Build and develop high-performing engineering organizations through recruiting, coaching, and career development.
- Define and execute multi-year Security Engineering strategies and roadmaps.
- Provide strategic oversight of enterprise security platforms including identity, cloud, application, endpoint, and data protection.
- Guide security architecture, technical standards, and engineering practices.
- Champion automation and engineering-driven security controls.
- Lead technology evaluations, vendor relationships, and build-versus-buy assessments.
- Establish operational practices including service ownership, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs.
- Communicate security strategy, risk, and investment needs to executive leadership.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
