- 7+ years in security, IT, or GRC.
- 3+ years managing a team.
- Proven experience leading people and making strategic decisions.
- Genuine fluency across application security, IT operations, and GRC.
- Experience with OWASP and vulnerability management programs (e.g., Snyk).
- Experience with identity and access management (e.g., Okta).
- Strategic communication skills to explain complex security/compliance to business leadership.
- Proven experience managing or leading a SOC 2 audit cycle.
- Experience with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Unify security, IT, and compliance into a coherent strategy with shared standards.
- Define and drive application security roadmap including vulnerability management and penetration testing.
- Lead compliance programs and manage annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit cycles.
- Provide strategic direction for IT operations, including access management and device security.
- Communicate security posture to enterprise customers, leadership, and auditors during due diligence.
