Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, systems engineering, or related technical fields.
- At least 3 years managing and developing engineers.
- Demonstrated experience establishing an internal AI, developer, or infrastructure platform function from an early stage.
- Strong understanding of AI cost engineering, including usage attribution, model right-sizing, and token economics.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of LLM platform tooling, agent and MCP architecture, identity and OAuth.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code practices.
- Deep understanding of data governance and responsible AI practices.
- Ability to influence Engineering, Security, GRC, Data, Finance, and People teams without direct authority.
- Experience scaling engineering capabilities through periods of significant organizational growth.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a senior team of platform engineers and technical program managers.
- Define the AI Corporate Engineering team's charter, roadmap, operating model, and intake processes.
- Design and manage AI identity, authentication, connector allowlisting, and security guardrails.
- Build cost engineering systems for AI usage, token economics, and agent cost traceability.
- Own internal MCP infrastructure, including governance and lifecycle management.
- Develop a golden-path internal application platform with automated decommissioning and private-by-default configurations.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, agent registries, and technical enablement programs for internal AI tools.
- Partner with GRC, Security, Data, Finance, and People teams to coordinate policies and technical infrastructure.
