Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven success building and leading sales teams that consistently achieve revenue goals.
  • Experience selling architectural building products, construction solutions, or similar technical offerings.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles involving architects, contractors, distributors, and engineers.
  • Ability to provide technical product guidance and translate customer needs into solutions.
  • Experience using CRM and sales management platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to comply with job site safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets across assigned regions and product portfolios.
  • Build, coach, and manage a network of direct sales professionals and independent manufacturer representatives.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase product specifications, market share, and customer adoption.
  • Provide technical guidance to sales teams and customers by recommending appropriate product solutions.
  • Support architects, contractors, distributors, and engineers throughout the specification, bidding, and installation process.
  • Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to customers and industry groups.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track sales performance and pipeline activity through CRM tools.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, job sites, trade shows, and industry events with approximately 30% travel expected.
