Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or relevant industry.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and engaging with First Nations.
- Experience engaging with all levels of government.
- Deep knowledge of Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, and BC impact assessment and licensing regimes.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead water use licensing, environmental permitting applications, and studies for projects.
- Develop integrated project schedules, including critical path tasks for project implementation.
- Provide corporate technical support regarding environmental compliance and governance.
- Interface with government, stakeholders, and communities to advance permitting.
- Represent the company and clients in regulatory meetings and community workshops.
- Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes impacting projects.
- Support proposal writing and business development initiatives.
- Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs.
- Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate staff.
