Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing a SOC and leading incident response.
- Strong understanding of security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the security operations center (SOC).
- Manage a team of security professionals through hiring and actionable feedback.
- Develop and implement security policies and incident response protocols.
- Design security monitoring and threat intelligence strategies.
- Manage vulnerability management processes and risk mitigation.
- Anticipate AI/AIOps trends to optimize automation and incident resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with company-wide leaders to protect patient and employee data.
