Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience leading information security, enterprise IT, or combined technology functions.
- Demonstrated success building and maturing cybersecurity programs within business objectives.
- Direct experience supporting healthcare technology environments and HIPAA-regulated organizations.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, PHI protection, security governance, and risk assessments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with IAM, SSO, MFA, endpoint management, and MDM.
- Experience leading enterprise IT operations, incident response, and disaster recovery.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Director level or equivalent senior management experience with comparable scope.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership to develop technology strategy and communicate complex technical topics.
- Strong vendor management experience including security assessments and questionnaires.
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and security operations, strengthening protection across cloud, endpoints, and business systems.
- Build and mature a comprehensive information security program including governance, risk management, and security awareness.
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise IT operations, ensuring reliable and scalable technology services.
- Own Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities including SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.
- Oversee endpoint management, MDM, device lifecycles, and enterprise SaaS administration.
- Lead vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other security frameworks through audits and risk assessments.
- Manage third-party security assessments, vendor risk reviews, and customer security questionnaires.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing IT team while remaining engaged in hands-on architecture and technical execution.
