Requirements
- Advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MS) in a healthcare-related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in medical education in a pharmaceutical company or medical communications agency.
- Expert verbal and written communication skills in medical science.
- Intermediate ability to analyze scientific relevance, validity, and credibility of medical literature.
- Intermediate conceptual understanding of digital marketing practices and AI technology applications.
- Experience with medical, legal, and regulatory reviews preferred.
- Ability to work eastern US time zone hours.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop core deliverables such as PowerPoint slides, manuscripts, video scripts, and executive summaries for medical communication projects.
- Perform and analyze literature searches to ensure content is evidenced-based and accurate.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and creative teams on medical storytelling and strategic recommendations.
- Partner with designers on illustrations and animations for scientific information.
- Develop relationships with clients and key opinion leaders to communicate complex scientific concepts.
- Conduct quality checks on content and manage Veeva submissions for client medical/legal/regulatory reviews.
- Train and mentor junior medical writers.
