- Demonstrable track record of leading complex initiatives and designing systems.
- Experience in engineering management or equivalent coaching/mentoring roles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and deep software engineering understanding.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across disciplines.
- Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach engineering teams to consistently deliver outstanding customer value.
- Nurture the professional growth of engineers through hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Create a predictable pace of work by planning, removing blockers, and managing dependencies.
- Collaborate with product managers to define both what to build and how to build it.
- Drive technical solution design and implementation to ensure alignment with the technical direction.
- Manage technical debt and provide support for existing systems.
