Requirements
- 6+ years of total work experience.
- 2+ years in investment banking or consulting.
- 2+ years in a high-growth startup (Business Operations, Strategy & Ops or Strategic Finance preferred).
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to distill complex, ambiguous issues into structured frameworks and clear recommendations.
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and shifting priorities.
- Ability to build relationships and drive alignment across functions and seniority levels.
- Familiarity with AI tools/agents to accelerate workflows.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or embedded/vertical SaaS (bonus).
- SQL proficiency or equivalent analytical depth (bonus).
Responsibilities
- Own high-priority, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and analysis to execution and measurement.
- Partner with leaders across Check to define and prioritize critical strategic business questions.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and design process improvements to drive business efficiency and margin.
- Develop and maintain critical operating metrics and reporting cadences for senior stakeholders.
- Apply AI tools and agents to analysis, reporting, and workflow design.
