Requirements
- 10+ years of total engineering experience.
- 4+ years of engineering leadership experience managing QA, DevOps, or platform reliability teams.
- Deep background in quality engineering with proven experience building or rebuilding automation frameworks.
- Experience migrating automation frameworks in multi-platform environments (web, iOS, Android).
- Demonstrated success driving a cultural shift from manual-heavy to automation-first QA in regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tooling such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Maestro.
- Strong technical background in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and platform observability.
- Proven experience driving AI coding and testing tool adoption across engineering organizations.
- Ability to engage directly in solution design, architecture discussions, and production incident response.
- Strong cross-functional leadership ability to hold stakeholders accountable to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead core engineering functions (Release Management, QA, and DevOps), owning delivery quality and platform reliability.
- Design and implement an org-wide engineering quality framework, setting standards for unit and integration testing.
- Develop and coach the QA organization, transitioning teams from manual QA to automation-first quality engineering.
- Partner with the Release Manager to implement structured release gate processes and formal go/no-go decisions.
- Own DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability.
- Drive AI-assisted coding and testing adoption across engineering teams to improve productivity and code quality.
- Oversee Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards.
