Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business operations, programme management, or commercial operations within aerospace, defence, or government contracting.
- Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects or manufacturing programmes.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or APM qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of UK/European defence procurement processes (NATO, national MoDs, tier-1 primes).
- Expertise in quality management systems (AS9100 / ISO 9001).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP tools.
- Working knowledge of export control regimes (ITAR/EAR, AUKUS) and data privacy regulations (GDPR).
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance or equivalent national security vetting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills for international team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution of European defence manufacturing and technology programmes, tracking milestones, cost, schedule, risk, and delivery against contractual requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning engineering, quality, commercial, and supply chain across US and European/UK footprints.
- Oversee UK/European manufacturing partners and sub-contractors to ensure performance aligns with quality standards (AS9100, AQAP 2110).
- Establish programme risk registers and drive proactive mitigation strategies across supply chain, export licensing, and delivery.
- Manage Salesforce as the system of record for EMEA leads, accounts, and active programmes.
- Build dashboards and reporting packs to provide executive leadership with visibility into operational performance and revenue forecasting.
- Establish SOPs and operating rhythms for programme reviews.
- Partner with IT and legal teams to enforce ITAR/EAR, AUKUS, and GDPR requirements.
