Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience as a Finance Manager within buy-side firms.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with effective problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in crypto financial services is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Python or equivalent programming competency is a plus.
- CPA designation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and recommend improvements.
- Support budgeting processes and develop financial models to assist in decision-making.
- Evaluate and optimize cash flow and liquidity strategies for cost-effective treasury solutions.
- Maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks and facilitate annual audits.
- Provide documentation for onboarding processes of exchanges and brokerages.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial materials for investor communications and manage investor databases.
