Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Translator/Interpreter
- C1 or higher proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience providing virtual interpretation
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience working independently and with teams
- Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
- Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of Trello and Microsoft Teams
- Close attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Relevant degree or training in Languages or Communications preferred
- Knowledge of topics such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology preferred
Responsibilities
- Report to the Translation Manager
- Provide written translation and live interpretation during meetings with foreign stakeholders
- Translate minutes, reports, and formal letters
- Answer language-related queries and assist service users requiring language support
- Cooperate with other volunteers on ad hoc projects
