Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership from definition through delivery.
- Proven ability to operate with significant autonomy and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience partnering directly with engineering teams to scope and deliver technical initiatives.
- Ability to succeed in ambiguous environments where requirements and ownership are not yet defined.
- Strong learning agility for quickly developing expertise in new domains and technical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with HR or people technology platforms like Workday, Eightfold, or talent management systems is an asset.
- Experience building or scaling internal enterprise products or data platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with generative AI or AI-assisted tools is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for an assigned People & Places technology domain, applying build-versus-buy principles.
- Maintain visibility across the tools, vendors, and contracts within the domain to support investment and consolidation decisions.
- Translate ambiguous employee and business challenges into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own the experience and intelligence layer built above core systems like Workday.
- Partner closely with engineering teams throughout discovery, development, and launch.
- Evaluate AI capabilities for integration into product decisions and workflows.
- Define and monitor domain-level KPIs to connect product performance with people strategy.
