Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement/sourcing experience.
- Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology environments.
- Demonstrated success leading technology vendor negotiations (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, professional services).
- Proven experience with direct leadership of a team, including coaching and development.
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent executive communication and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with healthcare IT procurement (strongly preferred).
- Ability to work in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide procurement, including sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Manage a team of four buyers, providing coaching and performance management.
- Partner with cross-functional budget owners to align sourcing with business strategy.
- Implement supplier relationship management (SRM) and performance scorecards.
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting on procurement performance, savings, and risk.
- Mature procurement processes, including category strategies, sourcing governance, and P2P discipline.
- Ensure vendor compliance with healthcare IT security and privacy requirements.
