Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or international professional qualification in accounting.
- Strong financial management expertise.
- Proven experience in Financial Analysis, Planning, and Budgeting.
- Highly proficient with Excel Spreadsheets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
- Proven ability to effectively multitask and prioritize work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Experience building constructive relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Accounting Unit to understand accounting processes and general ledger postings.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of ongoing and pipeline projects and their financial dynamics.
- Formulate credible budgets and assess organizational financial performance.
- Report financial performance against budget to the Director-General regularly.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address bank inquiries.
- Provide explanations for budget variances, re-forecasts, and trend analysis.
- Identify strategic opportunities for revenue growth and cost control.
- Supervise and work closely with Financial Analysts and Auditors.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory returns including VAT and corporation tax.
