Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing global payroll and multi-entity accounting environments.
- Advanced knowledge of general ledger management, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of revenue recognition, billing systems, and sales operations.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Bitwage, Wise, Deel, and Payoneer.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Finance to oversee global accounting operations and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including general ledger management and account reconciliations.
- Oversee global payroll operations and optimize platforms including Bitwage, Wise, Deel, and Payoneer.
- Manage end-to-end client invoicing, revenue tracking, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Monitor cash flow related to payroll, vendor payments, and receivables to ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to align contracts, CRM data, and billing processes.
- Evaluate and optimize financial systems, workflows, and automation to improve scalability.
